Allegro Acoustics was commissioned by Waterleau (WTL) to provide acoustic consultancy for the new wastewater treatment plant serving the Diageo Brewery in Newbridge, County Kildare. The project required independent acoustic assessment to verify that the completed installation achieved the contractual noise performance requirements before handover.
The assessment was completed in two phases. During the first phase, Allegro Acoustics reviewed the project, established the acoustic assessment methodology and developed a detailed testing strategy. The second phase involved comprehensive on-site noise testing of the wastewater treatment plant, including individual process equipment and occupied areas within the facility.
Measured noise levels were assessed against the project's contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to verify compliance with the specified acoustic performance requirements. Detailed technical reporting was prepared to document the testing methodology, present the measured results and confirm the acoustic performance of the completed installation.
