Aghada Power Station is a 963MW power-generation facility in County Cork operating under an Industrial Emissions Licence. Allegro Acoustics provides ongoing environmental and occupational noise consultancy services to support the effective management of noise across the facility.
The work includes annual Industrial Emissions Licence noise monitoring at the relevant site boundary and nearby noise-sensitive locations, together with annual occupational noise monitoring throughout the operational areas of the power station.
Allegro Acoustics also provides detailed noise mapping and noise modelling to support the assessment and management of noise across the site. This work provides a clear understanding of noise levels and supports the identification and assessment of significant noise sources where required.
The ongoing programme is supported by specialist technical advice, providing ESB Generation with comprehensive acoustic support across environmental noise, occupational noise and the wider management of noise at the facility.
