Allegro Acoustics acted as lead acoustic design consultant for the 6,500 m² Trinity E3 Learning Foundry. The building contains flexible teaching spaces, workshops, wet laboratories, digital-media laboratories and collaborative areas supporting engineering, environment and energy education and research. The acoustic strategy was developed against Building Bulletin 93 and Department of Education TGD-021-05 principles. Work included internal ambient-noise assessment and façade design, wall and floor sound-insulation design, rain-noise assessment, reverberation control and coordination of building-services noise.
