The appointment includes annual environmental noise monitoring, detailed environmental noise modelling using SoundPLAN, noise complaint investigations and vibration monitoring during construction works. Environmental noise assessments are undertaken in accordance with ISO 1996 and EPA Guidance Note NG4. Detailed modelling and noise source investigations support the assessment of operational noise and the development of practical engineering solutions, while vibration monitoring helps protect critical infrastructure during on-site works.
