Merck Millipore operates major life sciences manufacturing facilities at Tullagreen and Blarney in County Cork. Both sites require ongoing management of environmental and occupational noise to support regulatory compliance, protect employees and facilitate the delivery of new plant and infrastructure.

Allegro Acoustics provides ongoing noise consultancy across both facilities. At Tullagreen, the work includes annual environmental noise monitoring in support of the site’s Industrial Emissions Licence, together with annual workplace noise assessments and technical advice to help maintain alignment with HSA workplace-noise requirements.

At the Blarney facility, Allegro Acoustics developed the environmental noise model and noise-control strategy for a new energy centre subject to particularly stringent planning noise limits. Allegro Acoustics also completes annual occupational noise monitoring at the Blarney site.

The ongoing programme provides Merck Millipore with a coordinated approach to environmental compliance, employee noise exposure and the acoustic design of new infrastructure across two operational life sciences facilities.
