The site includes a range of production and maintenance activities where effective management of occupational noise is essential to protect employees and maintain compliance with workplace noise requirements.
Allegro Acoustics provides regular occupational noise assessments and noise-control engineering support at the facility. Detailed surveys are used to identify work areas and activities above the lower exposure action value and to determine the principal sources contributing to employee noise exposure.
Following each assessment, Allegro Acoustics works with the client to develop and implement practical engineering and operational controls suited to the live production environment. This includes reviewing plant, tools, work practices and local treatment options to reduce exposure without disrupting essential maintenance activities.
