Senior Acoustic Consultant with a background in mechanical engineering and specialised expertise in industrial noise control and building acoustics. Kevin brings a highly analytical approach to acoustic design, particularly within the power generation, life sciences and education sectors, across the full project lifecycle from design criteria to commissioning.

In this role

Kevin provides noise monitoring and noise modelling services to most of Ireland's CCGT power stations and many life science facilities. He also defines acoustic criteria and technical design recommendations for room acoustics, sound insulation and M&E noise control on large capital projects and education bundles.

  • Postgraduate Diploma, Acoustics and Noise Control, Institute of Acoustics & Trinity College Dublin (2023)

Selected project experience

  • Noise modelling and control recommendations to ESB for the Shannonbridge Peaking Plant (8 gas turbines, 265MW)
  • Acoustic testing and commissioning reports to GE Vernova for the Tarbert Peaking Plant (3 gas turbines, 150MW)
  • Lead acoustic consultant for the DoES Schools Bundle Lot 2 (€82m) and Lot 6 (€250m)
  • Acoustic design and testing for Vision Built's modular schools
  • Annual noise monitoring and compliance reporting across Ireland's CCGT power stations and pharmaceutical facilities
  • Acoustic design for the Maldron Hotel & Residential Development at Merrion Road (€50m)
