Noise monitoring is rarely wanted for its own sake. It is required because a licence demands it, a complaint has been made, or a planning condition needs demonstrating. We work to whichever of those is driving it, and design the monitoring so it answers the actual question rather than simply producing numbers.
For licensed sites we carry out the annual survey and reporting needed to demonstrate compliance with EPA NG4 limits at noise sensitive locations. For construction and infrastructure we provide attended and unattended monitoring, including combined noise and dust monitoring programmes where a planning condition requires both.
Where monitoring shows an exceedance, we do not stop at the finding. Our engineers can model the source, identify what is driving it and design the control measures needed to bring the site back within limits.
