David J Cawley

David has nearly twenty years of experience as an acoustic consultant and designer, extensively involved in various industries such as performing arts, residential, education, healthcare, power generation, and manufacturing. He is also a talented musician who leverages his musical expertise in designing performance spaces at Allegro Acoustics. Additionally, David is a chartered engineer and was among the six finalists for the Chartered Engineer of the Year Award 2012. He has also lectured at Trinity College Dublin in the specialized areas of Acoustics in Buildings and Noise Control Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Ireland Galway (2003), a Master’s Degree in Applied Acoustics from the University of Surrey (2011), and a Certified Project Management Diploma from IPMI (2017). Currently, David serves as the Managing Director at Allegro Acoustics.
Stephen Kearney

Stephen is the Technical Director at Allegro Acoustics. Stephen has a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering (Hons) from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and a Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control from Trinity College Dublin and the Institute of Acoustics. He has worked as a Lead Acoustic Consultant on various projects, including office developments, hotels, schools, and residential developments. Some of his key projects include Bow Lane Hotel in Dublin 2, Corrib Village Phase 1 Student Accommodation at NUI Galway, and the 300-Seat Music Performance Auditorium at the American and British Academy in Muscat, Oman. During his free time, Stephen enjoys mountain biking at nearby trails outside of work.
Dirun Ergin

Dirun holds a BA in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey (2009) and an MSc in Architecture (Architectural Acoustics) from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey (2014). She has over nine years of experience in Architectural Acoustics and has taught Acoustics courses at the Faculty of Architecture, Istanbul Bilgi University. Dirun specializes in Architectural Acoustics projects at Allegro Acoustics, where she manages projects and conducts site inspections. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new experiences in Dublin, such as dancing.
Kevin Lynch

Kevin graduated from NUI Galway with a BE in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 and completed a postgraduate diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control with the Institute of Acoustics in 2023. He specializes in industrial noise control and building acoustics, particularly in the educational sector. Kevin has experience commissioning hotel and office developments in Dublin and modular educational and residential sites. In his spare time, he enjoys biking around the Wicklow and Dublin mountains.
Conor Brady

Conor studied at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin and earned a Bachelor’s in Audio Technology (Honours) from Griffith College Dublin. Since completing his degree, Conor has worked in the audio field, from mixing and mastering to equipment testing and repairs. He works on various projects within Allegro Acoustics, spanning the manufacturing and construction industries. Conor loves practicing kickboxing and exploring different parts of Ireland in his free time.
Sanchit Bhan

Sanchit is an AV Engineer at Allegro Acoustics with a background in computer engineering, audio engineering, and music production. He was part of a NASA Space Apps Hackathon team and has experience building studios in NYC and Mumbai. Sanchit was recognized in Rolling Stone magazine for his exceptional work in music production. He enjoys building motorbikes and honing his skills in digital media production.

Joanna is Allegro Acoustics’ Finance and Office Manager. She formulates office policies, administers HR practices, and evaluates financial information. She holds an Honours Degree in Business Management from Technological University Dublin and is passionate about human resources and organizational psychology. In her spare time, Joanna enjoys traveling, exercising, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Zeynep is an interior designer at Allegro Acoustics with a degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University. She specializes in creating visually appealing and acoustically optimized spaces. As a designer, Zeynep ensures cohesive design concepts and brings fresh ideas to each project, drawing inspiration from her passion for design and love of travel.
