Allegro Acoustics are currently acting as lead acoustic design consultants for the 6,500 sqm Trinity E3 Learning Foundry located on the main Trinity Campus in Dublin City Centre.

This learning foundry will consist of a number of teaching and interactive spaces to facilitate Engineering, Environment and Energy in research and academia including Workshop Areas, Flexible Learning Spaces, Wet Labs and Digital Media Labs.

All educational spaces are designed to achieve the acoustic design standard as set out in Building Bulletin 93 and TGD-021-05. This involves an assessment of Internal Ambient Noise Levels and associated façade design, Internal Sound Insulation and associated wall and floor design, rain noise assessment and Reverberation Time Design.
